Cancellation & Refund Policy

Our fair and transparent policy for booking changes and cancellations. Last updated: January 2025.

Our Policy Overview

At Jawai Tourism, we understand that travel plans can change. We have designed a fair cancellation policy that protects both our guests and our ability to operate sustainably. Since we do not collect advance payments, our policy primarily governs on-arrival and group bookings.

Standard Safari Bookings (No Advance Payment)

For standard bookings where no advance payment has been collected:

Group Bookings (10+ Guests)

Group bookings may require an advance deposit. The following policy applies:

Resort/Hotel Bookings

Resort bookings made through Jawai Tourism are subject to the individual resort's cancellation policy, which will be communicated at the time of booking confirmation.

Weather & Force Majeure

In the event that a safari is cancelled by Jawai Tourism due to extreme weather, government restrictions, or other force majeure events, affected guests will receive a full credit for a future safari or a full refund if a future date is not feasible.

How to Cancel

Please quote your booking reference number when cancelling.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days to the original payment method.
